Locations

We have looked at lots of different locations for example, the woods across the river from our college. As well as locations from around the local castle which would be suitable for our music video because it has that indie, alternative feel that you don't normally get in mainstream music videos.

Health and Safety risk assessment

Choreography/movements/blocking

For our music video we have planned to have a lot of movement, which varies from dancing, walking to slow motion running (we hope). We don't have any real dancing moments but if we find ourselves with a few extra seconds to fill we can easily use some dancing shots. Our music video doesn't really call for much movement and so planning it would be hard, if not impossible.

Audience Profile

Our audience would, as we think, be arty and into being creative and different. They might be in a profession, which allows this, or they could be students studying a future career possibility.

Shopping; Soho, charity shops, antique shops, vintage shops, TopShop.

Loyalty to Brands; Our audience in particular might not be loyal to nay one particular brand as we have profiled them as buying at many different shops, like charity shops in the bid to be unique.

Their interests include reading, tea and cars. They might be interested in things that are different such as this poster and the saying "Keep Calm."

Media interests; they might like media such as indie and arty films. Types of music they might be interested in could be bands such as Florence and The Machine and Mumford & Sons and other niche bands or artists. They would like magazines such as NME. There are also locations such as the ones included where our target audience might visit or be interested in.

Gender; Both male and female but mostly female as the types and genre of this music is generally more appealing to girls.

Genre of preference; Alternative/abstract/niche are all genres that our target audience might be interested in.

Education; Our main target audience will be students, mainly people who are already in education or some who might be going back into education to teach in creative field. As this genre of music generally appeals to them as a mass audience.

Demographics; Our target audience is mainly band E-students and band B-middle management, people in creative jobs and people involved with the media industry.

Culture; We think that the main percentage of our audience will be British. However because of the integration of different cultures the music, and music video could appeal to a more varied audience from different cultures, religion and ethnicities.

Time Management

Here is our calender for February. It includes when we will film and edit (written in red), as well as planning which is written in blue writing. Hopefully we can stick to this.
